This is where the railway terminates. The loco has run down here to change tracks and will run past the carriages, change track again, and then be at the front of the train to return to the Giant's Causeway Station. Up to 1949, when this route was part of the Giant's Causeway Tramway, the route went on beyond this point to Portrush. There was even, for a few years, a short branch to Bushmills Market Square, but that had closed by 1890.
