Looking down from the edge of the car park at Branksome Dene chine, over the roof of Image towards Image After the most mediocre of summers, this weekend has achieved the hottest October temperatures ever recorded, with 29.9° recorded in Kent yesterday and at least 25° here in Bournemouth. Even now, at around 5:30pm, the beach is still busy with people enjoying the hot weather shortly before the sun passes behind the cliffs.
