If you want to turn the clock back and be a mod then this is the store for you; parkas, suits, shirts, shoes, Fred Perry tee shirts are all sold here and when the shop is open a Lambretta scooter is always parked outside. Another few years and Jump the Gun will hold the record for the longest tenure though they did originally begin trading at Image and also had another store round the corner at 28a North Road. Another shop with a large turnover of traders even when the store was a bakery for over 90 years seven different traders came and went during that period. The bakers were briefly replaced by Marina Electrics one of four stores they occupied in the street over a 30 year period, starting with Image, then Image then here and finally Image More rapid turnover followed until the current incumbents moved in.
