Located on the north side of the station, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2624631 the car park has space for 100 vehicles. Seven of the spaces are reserved for Blue Badge holders. The Blue Badge scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. Blue Badge holders can park close to where they need to go. The scheme operates throughout the UK and is managed by local authorities, who deal with applications and issue Blue Badges.
