A sign opposite a farm building http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2618480 points towards the Brecon Mountain Railway. The route to the railway skirts the edge of Pontsticill Reservoir. Dowlais is 3 miles away and Merthyr Tydfil 4 miles away.
