Old wall and gate pillars on the northern side of East Bridge Street. They are (to the best of my knowledge) the last surviving remnants of the coal-fired power station which sat between East Bridge Street and the Laganbank Road (background in Image). It was completed in 1898 to a design by Frederick Tulloch whose practice was responsible for the (similar) Whitehall Tobacco Works Image Part of the site is now occupied by Image
