Lymington Town is located on a short branch line recently rebranded as a 'Heritage Line'. Certainly, the staff at this station have done a very good job of making it look 'old fashioned'. The slam door 4-CIG Electric Multiple Unit vehicles are vintage now as well, having been withdrawn across the main lines recently. The Lymington branch is currently the only place in the country where they can be seen in action.
