Here a hardstanding picnic area has been established, the first of its kind that I have seen in such a place in Wales. Built, I'm sure, to encourage visitors to leave their caravans, cafe seats, or cars and spend some high quality time actually in the environment. Without the risks associated with sitting on the ground (few level surfaces, mobility / flexibility problems, wet grass, brambles / gorse / nettles, creepy-crawlies, or worse). It has certainly got one of the best views, so I hope it is much used.
