The Rotunda, in the foreground, is the European Design Centre for Nissan. It was designed in 1968 by Paul Hamilton as a road vehicle maintenance depot for British Rail. The same architect designed the Battleship Building, seen beyond with mosaic-clad concrete tower. In the background is 2 Kingdom Street, part of the new Paddington Central development.
