Ancient man on his knees head thrown back arms open wide. Reaching up to the sky spreading out like a mighty oak, straining towards the sun on the longest day. Rooted Into the moon and protected by three magical hares. The sun the moon and the life in between. ............................ So says the plaque at the foot of this statue.
