Yorke Almshouses

These four almshouses are situated immediately to the east of Forthampton church, they were designed by William Burges of 1863-4 who worked for the third Marquess of Bute working on Cardiff Castle and Castell Coch. The almshouses are named after the family who lived in nearby Forthampton Court.
