A full sized sculpture of Sir Alex Douglas Home near the South Lodge at the entrance to the Hirsel Country Park was unveiled by HRH the Prince of Wales on the 23rd August 1998. It stands in a paved area surrounded by red sandstone sculptures with inscriptions and engravings that portray his life interests. For a closer view of the statue and engraving details, see Image
