The Tower, known locally as Y Twr, was built by Joseph Huddart in 1821 to celebrate his knighthood. Like the rest of the fabric of the estate the tower became dilapidated. The new owner of Bryncir Home Farm, Mr Richard Williams - whose Snowdon farm at Cwm Llan was bought by the National Trust - has renovated the building to a high standard and it is now available for the use of visitors. http://www.selfcatering-directory.co.uk/info.asp?id=4387
