The former railway station in Dersingham

The station served the King's Lynn to Hunstanton line and was opened in 1862. Dersingham station was situated roughly in the middle between King's Lynn and Hunstanton and marked the half-way point of the line. The main station building is constructed from local carstone with an attached Great Eastern-style canopy on the up platform and a canopied waiting room on the down platform. The original Great Eastern signal box can still be seen beside the down platform. Both platform and outbuildings are used as offices and stores by a builder's merchant. The main station building is said to have been converted into a private residence but does not currently appear to be inhabited.
