Now a swish block of flats, the mill was built as a steam operated corn mill by Potto Brown and dates from 1854. It became a printing works, but it gained international significance in the 1970s as the home of Sinclair Radionics. Some of the world's first pocket calculators were produced here. The former Midland Cambridge to Kettering branch (closed in 1959) crossed the river here, just behind the mill. Not a trace remains.
