Lubbock Road, with Porrington Close on the right. The house on the right is Seven Trees (originally called Rosedale), dating from 1872. In the early part of the Second World War it served as a refuge for Czech Jewish children, rescued from Prague by a local society, the Barbican Mission to the Jews. It is locally listed.
