These “campfireless circles” are near the car park in the Forestry Commissions Broak's Wood http://www.forestry.gov.uk/website/recreation.nsf/LUWebDocsByKey/EnglandEssexNoForestBroaksWood for, some reason my O.S. maps have the wood titled as Shardlowe’s Wood.
