The front of Turney Court - once Turney Brothers' Trent Bridge Leather Works and now flats - and the bus stop are in shadow but The Riverbank restaurant (originally The Town Arms) straight ahead and the copper-roofed County Hall, on the West Bridgford side of Trent Bridge, are lit by brilliant sunshine on an August morning, the prelude to a lovely day for cricket (on which Notts beat Durham on the third day of the County Championship match).
