Barnoldswick has not had a railway for over 35 years, but it still has a Station Road, seen here opposite the photographer. Nowadays, public transport is left to buses, and these run to Burnley, Skipton, Preston and other surrounding areas. In this picture, the single-decker belongs to Tyrer Buses and is working a local service.
