Trains first ran over this line in 1858 when the West End of London & Crystal Palace Railway line from Crystal Palace was opened. This view is from the footbridge between Valley Road and Queen's Mead Road. The lines continue to curve around until Bromley South station is reached. Until 2007, Eurostars could be seen passing under the bridge here.
