One of a handful of pockets of heathland surviving on Oxshott Heath. This one is surprisingly little visited, located on the east side of Warren Lane, and therefore away from visitors using car parks on the other side of the main road. This was once the route of a well-worn footpath north across the heath towards what is now Stokesheath Road, but there is now only a little used permissive bridleway down the valley to the right to Heath Road.
