BT stopped using the site in 2005. After conversion, most of the building was occupied by a 66 bedroom Travelodge hotel, which opened in 2008. There is a dental practice on the ground floor, and office space on the first floor. The building is now called Exchange House. The date 1955 is inscribed by the front door - see Image .
