Lorries belonging to the firm of D. R. Collin & Son being loaded with fish in the early evening. A local resident told me that harbour dues are now so steep that no fish are actually landed at Eyemouth. This operation seemed to involve transferring fish that had been brought in from elsewhere by road. A large lorry from Islay appeared to drop off a consignment of partans which these lorries presumably deliver to destinations further south.
