Old Oak Common - proposed line of HS2

The proposed High Speed 2 railway would have a station in Old Oak Common, an interchange to Crossrail and the main line to Paddington. It would run in a tunnel near the line of the Van Sidings on the left of the fence in the photo. The tunnel would run West under North Acton station and Acton Cemetery, and East to Euston. On the right of this photo is the First Great Western depot. On the left the Crossrail depot is being built. For a 2005 view here see Image
