Roman Baths at Welwyn

The Roman Baths at Welwyn are now sadly in an underground bunker, as the A1M motorway now passes directly overhead. The white figure in the foreground is modelled on one of the archaeologists who excavated the site; the distant white figure is modelled on the man who first discovered the existence of this Roman site, having found a single roman tile in a nearby stream.
