A view from Peckham Library, in inner South East London. In the forgeound is a site where a building has been demolished. the soite is awaiting redevelopment. Behind it is a timber merchant. The green area to the left was once a canal. In the distance, the London Eye is visible to the left of the image while on the right, The Shard is under construction. The Shard will be the tallest building in the European Union when it has been completed.
