Twyford crossroads

A busy crossroads at the heart of the village. This was formerly the great west road between London and Bath, the A4 until bypassed to the north in the 1950s and latterly by the M4. Today the centre of the village is still a busy place and crossroads has to be controlled by four-way traffic lights such are the conflicting traffic movements.
