Sony Distribution Centre ablaze

The pall of smoke seen in this photo is emanating from the blazing Sony Distribution Centre at 6 Solar Way, Enfield Lock. It had been burning for several hours when this photograph was taken from nearly seven miles away. Although at the time of writing the definite cause of the fire had not been established, the presumption is that it was arson associated with the riots that have been occurring in various locations around London in the last three days. The distribution centre, with a floorspace of some 20,000m², was Sony's sole warehouse in the country for CDs and DVDs which being mostly plastic burn rather well. Millions of pounds of damage have been caused by these riots - to what end ? Note: The warehouse straddles the gridline such that most of it is in the neighbouring square to the east, but I have taken an arbitrary point on its western façade as this is the side facing the viewer. For a Google Streetview image of the warehouse before the fire see http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=6+Solar+Way,+Enfield&hl=en&ll=51.677758,-0.020814&spn=0,0.027788&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=20.121063,56.90918&z=16&layer=c&cbll=51.678253,-0.020691&panoid=D9fFYYYJaSb34CZLnsdq2Q&cbp=12,147.74,,0,-2.02
