Mill wheel at the Little Mill Inn, Rowarth

The mill wheel no longer appears to be working or allowed to turn. The channel seen entering the picture from the left still carries water to the wheel but the wheel is static now. It is hard to envisaged from the existing set-up how it would have operated. What it would have driven and would it have been in the pub building or elsewhere. Who knows?
