An exterior photograph of the church in October 1980. Note the cement rendering covering the front of the church - this was removed in 1989 when it started detaching from the brickwork underneath. Also of note are at roof level the remains of the bases for two pinnacles which used to exist. On the right of the picture an area is being cleared and prepared for a temporary building - the precursor of the 1985 Parish Centre. The front in 2009 can be seen at Image (More information on the church can be found in "The History of St Peter's Church London Colney" by Kenneth Barker, ISBN978 0 95531142 0) Photo scanned from a print from an Ektachrome slide.
