The older part of the mill dates from around 1815. Here many of the original ground floor windows have been converted to doors as part of the conversion to residential use. The whole mill is Grade II listed, and at the time of listing was disused, having been latterly used as an animal feed mill. The conversion is sympathetic to the original building.
