This buddleia with abundant purple flowerheads has quite taken over the vacant lot at the corner of Cross Street and Water Street Image Buddleia (or correctly "Buddleja") is a deciduous shrub that often colonizes waste ground. It is often known as Summer Lilac or Butterfly bush, being particularly attractive to butterflies.
