A lane in Wickham Glen! The listing of the nearby Wickham Bridge http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1282028 states that it is on the original road to Gloucester from Bristol, so the route of the lane probably dates back to at least the medieval period.
