The ramp takes the Pixie Path footpath from Hanley Terrace to the Wells Road. The Pixie Path descends from the top of the Malvern Hills ridge, at the Wyche Cutting, to what is now the golf clubhouse. Image] Hanley Terrace is a level cul-de-sac with a small number of large Victorian houses, built a century before everyone had a car. Some properties now have excavated gardens to include a garage, but others have to rely on the illegal, but far too common, practice of parking on the pavement. Notice the garden walls are constructed of the then popular, but quite unsuitable, Malvern granite. The post box is of George VI vintage. Image]
