Situated on the B3400 Church Street, this TE, which has the code THWI, replaced the former Manual TE in the late 1960s. It provides telephone and broadband services to 2,333 residential and 136 non-residential premises in Whitchurch, plus Freefolk, Hurstbourne Priors, North Litchfield and Tufton nearby. A BT Openreach car and a yellow grit salt bin can be seen in front of the TE. Also, an observation tower of the adjacent fire station can just be seen at the top of the photo. This TE has (01256) 89xxxx numbers, the (01256) referring to the Basingstoke group of thirteen TEs, and its postcode is RG28 7AD.
