Gullet Passage

One of Shrewsbury's most famous alleyways (shuts). It leads from the Square, off the High Street, to Mardol Head. From the 16th century there are records of a Gullet Inn at the head of the passage, but it is uncertain if the shut was named after the inn or vice versa.
