Following a £500,000 renovation and conversion from its previous use as the official residence of the city's mayor, Mansion House, Stow Park Circle, opened as the Register Office on Friday July 1st 2011. Often wrongly referred to as the 'Registry' Office, this is the place where births, marriages and deaths are recorded.
