In 1916 the Dolgarrog Aluminium Company opened its standard gauge siding to connect with the LNWR line from Blaenau Ffestiniog. The Dolgarrog Railway Society are relaying track on the line which was lifted in the early 1960's. The private road to Dolgarrog railway station can be seen vanishing between the trees. http://www.dolgarrograilway.co.uk
