Here, two paths lead from the green lane, the one on the right towards Pont Baladeulyn, the one on the left, this side of the hedge, towards Gelli Ffrydiau. whilst the green lane continues in the direction of Rhes Victoria. These were feeder paths to the quarries of both Nantlle and Fron and were used twice daily by scores of quarrymen. Today, even in the so called 'Golden Age of the Rambler', they see little use.
