Taken from the top of Beccles Church tower, the photo shows a close-up of the junction between The Walk and Market Street. The building on the corner is Durrants Estate Agents and their chimney is in the centre of the photo. Next to the chimney is a small headstone. Local legend has it that a young boy was working as a chimney sweep in Victorian times and got stuck and died up this chimney, hence the headstone.
