Looking off the south west end of platform 2 at Strood station. The back end of the train on the left hand side of the photo has just departed the station from St Pancras bound for Faversham. The train is about to cross the river Medway bound for its next stop Rochester. The train is one of the newish high speed services run by South Eastern trains. The line running straight ahead follows the edge of the Medway on the northern side.
