After the narrow pathway of the Green Chain Walk which has preceded this - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2512889 - it is pleasant to come out into this piece of woodland before New Street Hill is reached. The Green Chain Walk here at Plaistow has come from Beckenham Place Park and is on its way to Elmstead Wood or Chinbrook Meadows. Sundridge Park Golf Course is on the right.
