Bucking the trend in the licensed trade, the popular village pub is being extended. The bell has been moved from its previous position on the gable end http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/317366 to make way for the roof over the proposed pole dancing club. The builder is having trouble negotiating the ladder - scarcely surprising in view of the fact that his left leg is a good 30 cm shorter than his right.
