For this in 2005 see Image In 2011, it seems that A. L. Fry & Son are no more and the forge was disused. The window on the left side was broken, although still protected by metal bars. I could see within and it was empty except for a raised rectangular forge with a hood above, reminding me of the kind of blacksmiths one could walk one's horse into when I was a child in the 1950s. A fair amount of correspondence had been delivered by the postman but lay unopened. Opposite with the yellow door is Forge Cottage, not surprisingly. The road at left goes to Frogmore; that behind the camera become High Street, East Meon.
