A classic example of old-fashioned sign-writing above this village shop. Judging by the style of the phone number, this hasn't been altered since the 1960's - because the owners appreciate what an attractive piece of work it is. I took this shot after business hours - during the day this is a bustling little area, goods are displayed on the pavement, and every two minutes there's a 4x4 trying to squeeze into the parking space in front of the shop.
