The Pomona area of Stretford, in Greater Manchester, England. Here, in this part of the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford, are great views of Manchester and Salford Quays. Included in this shot is the top of the Beetham Tower, and (on the far right) Chester House (the present headquarters of Greater Manchester Police).
