Painted steel 12m high commissioned by the R C Sherriff Rosebriars Trust in collaboration with Sustrans. Robert Cedric Sherriff (1896 – 1975), born nearby at Hampton Wick, was a writer best known for his play Journey's End, based on his experiences as a captain in World War I.
