Looking south at the neolithic bank barrow on Long Barrow Hill. At nearly 200m long it is the longest surviving neolithic barrow in Britain, and over 6 times longer than the more conventional long barrow located a few hundred metres to the southeast. The V-shaped notch visible in the barrow's mound is probably not original, and is found a third of the way along from the left-hand end.
