Located on the west side of the B4560, a few metres from the A40 junction. An information board outside the hall states that Bwlch's heyday was in the 18th and early 19th centuries, when stagecoaches on the London to Carmarthen and Fishguard turnpike often stopped in the village overnight. At one time, there were nine inns and numerous alehouses in the village to cater for the passing trade. Today, only the New Inn survives. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2500022
