Located at 23 Medina Avenue in Newport, this portacabin is the meeting place for learner drivers to take their practical driving tests. It is the only such test centre on the Isle of Wight. For the theory test, learners would have to go to Portsmouth or Southampton to take it, as there is no theory test centre on the Island. Its postcode is PO30 1EL. Update: since this photo was taken, a theory test centre has opened at 48 Lugley Street, Newport, IOW, PO30 5HD. Update: This DTC in Medina Avenue closed in early 2018, having moved to Innovation Centre, St Cross Business Park, Monks Brook, Newport (IOW), PO30 5WB, SZ4990 refers.
